SHIPPING GUIDELINES

Orders are shipped within the U.S. and internationally.

Our free online shipping for orders above $350 pre-tax only applies to domestic order and is fulfilled via UPS. If you'd like to select a specific shipping service you may do so at checkout for an additional fee. Please refer to the guidelines below for approximate shipping prices. Shipping days calculations are based on business days only, and orders are not delivered on weekends or federal holidays.

For ease of delivery we do not require signatures on domestic shipments. If you'd like to add this service, please contact us. ELAINE KIM does not insure any package unless a specific request for insurance is made by the customer.  Insuring a package (at the request of the customer) is paid for by that customer.  ELAINE KIM is not responsible for any lost or damaged package that is not insured by the customer. 

Taxes:

Within the U.S., sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to California or New York, where we have physical stores. No other tax or import duty will be applied to orders shipped within the U.S.

International Shipping: 

Please note that duties and taxes are not included in your order total and will have to be paid separately through the destination country before delivery.

Customs tariffs, import duties, and VAT are set by the local government of the destination country. ELAINE KIM cannot control or be held responsible for any of these charges applied to your package by the local government.

We are not able to tell you what the cost will be as the amount of applicable customs tariffs, import duties and VAT vary from country to country. It is the customer’s responsibility to determine what these additional costs may be prior to placing an order. Similar to shipping costs, these costs and any additional cost incurred when returning/exchanging an item will not be refunded.

Duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.  Any shipments abandoned due to refusal of payment for duties and taxes, or the receiver being unavailable to receive or claim the package will not be refunded.  

Shipping Lead Time: 

Please allow up to 48 hours for processing and shipping of your order (unless the item is for pre-order with a shipping date to be confirmed).  Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders received on weekends and federal holidays will begin processing the next business day.  Orders are not delivered on weekends or federal holidays. 

ELAINE KIM will not accept responsibility for any delay in dispatch of orders. Any delay caused by payment authorization, time or day order is received or availability of merchandise is at the discretion of ELAINE KIM. 

ORDER TRACKING

An order confirmation will be sent to you by email once your order is received.  In addition, a shipment confirmation with the tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped. For deliveries within the U.S., you can check the status of your shipment by entering your tracking number at www.ups.com. You may also register with the site to change your delivery details or add specific delivery requests. Once your package leaves our facilities, it is out of our control to alter the destination address or shipping speed  

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Elaine Kim products available for purchase online are subject to availability.  As necessary, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply or supply only part of an order.  We will inform you if we are unable to fill your order.
